2. The information about your performance task has also been uploaded onto the Google sites. Read through and get an idea of what is required of you.

Study the following list of four gases:
Ethene (Formula: C2H4)
Hydrogen sulphide (Formula: H2S)
Neon (Formula: Ne)
Nitrogen (Formula: N2)
Which of the gases listed above will diffuse across a laboratory:
a) the fastest?
b) the slowest?
c) at the same rate?
Please note that the numbers given in the chemical formula should be all sub-script.

Please purchase the Chemistry O Level Topical Examinations Ten Year Series (TYS), Educational Publishing House Pte Ltd, from the school bookshop.
It should be available by the end of this week or next week. Please check with the bookshop on its availability.
Once you have purchased your TYS, do update Jie Min.
All students should have the TYS by the end of next week.
